FDR4LDYNThe main dataset comprises backscatter observables – backscatter, slope, and curvature – complemented by ancillary products including yearly azimuthal correction terms, uncertainty estimates, and advisory flags. Additionally, detailed product descriptions and technical notes outlining the algorithmic and scientific background of the first version of the FDR4LDYN products have been completed.
The dataset is hosted on TU Wien’s ResearchData platform in preparation for future FAIR and transparent access to the project’s products. At present, access is restricted to the project team for ongoing quality assurance and detailed analyses of interoperability with MetOp ASCAT. A public release is planned following the completion of these validation activities.
